Originally from England, in 2006 she started her training under Dylan Smith, an educational artist for Wella. In 2013 she moved to Sydney to travel and perfected her cutting and coloring skills. After 4 years she returned to london where she completed a coloring course with a leading london hair salon brand.
With over 13 years of experience Hannah worked for Radio since 2017 where she has built a successful column working in our redchurch st brunch. She has also worked in London and Milan Fashion week assisting on numerous shows, photoshoots and commercials for the likes of Agent Provocateur, Victoria’s Secret,Vivienne Westwood and photographers such as Craig Mcdean and Harley Weir.
Her strengths lie in classic cutting techniques, adapted to suit bone structure, and hair textures. She loves creating hairstyles that are long lasting and flattering and working with curls and fringes and Blondes.
She usually finds herself executing radical hairstyle and coloring changes!
Alongside her passion for hair she loves traveling and Yoga. She is obsessed with Yin.
I find myself so invested in my clients’ hair and personal stories that we each can share, sometimes hilarious and of course sometimes sad, i think the yoga training I have done has allowed me to process the ups and downs of daily life and create ‘Hair-story’ every time we cut and create.
In her own words
“I feel that to make a great hairstylist, you must continue to learn and develop your skills. And it’s my favourite part of the job!
I always hope to empower my clients by giving them the hair cut and colour that they have always wanted. Along with authentic advice on how to maintain, and achieve something long lasting.”
My hair hero will always be Eugene Soleiman, he has a complete technical knowledge of hair and how to manipulate it, and I love the way he uses cultural and historical research to give his runway looks a depth of character.
